I sold 5 of my chickens last saturday.

I mean my rooster was getting real mean and the other 4 were just...not really what I was wanting.

I miss my rooster though. The guy I sold them to was getting his wife some chickens for their anniversary. When he saw them he was like 'oh they are still kinda babies' (I put they were 10 weeks and 13 weeks old

) 'and the rooster wasnt as big as I thought he was going to be (Hes only the largest sized chicken breed in the chicken world

). He bought them though...
and now I kinda regret it cause I dont think he walked away 100% happy with his sale. I met him on another forum. I kinda want to PM him and ask him how everything is, if his GF liked the chickens, and such
Crazy?

I would ask, if it were me. Maybe they have a great home and you will feel better. Maybe the new home isn't as happy as they thought they would be and are re-thinking the purchase. I appreciated when the former owners contact me about ALL my animals, chickens included! It's fun to give updates! I'm proud of my babies.

Oh-My-GOD. This is what I do everytime I sell chickens. When I kept my chickens at my grandfathers house, we'd have to get rid of them in the winter and start over in the spring... Well I had a favorite game X ee that I couldn't sell to just anyone. I sold her to my friend, which promised to keep her untill I could buy her back, and then he sold her to a mexican for 12 dollars... Anyway, I feel your pain, cause I always want my old chickens back after I sell them.

Don't check with him You will probaballly be sorry you did. I sold a pair of my favortie black cochins. This guy really wanted them for his wife. He paid me 55.00 dollars for the pair. I fianlly agreed. and she went on and on how she loved their names aand wouldn't change them. Well I called a few weeks later and she told me her husband sold them at the auction because she stopped laying. Duh I told her she was starting to molt. She was very upset as they only got 15.00 for the pair at auction. Now I don't want to know Ignorance is bliss

haha glad to know Im not the only one..

Ignorance is bliss...
but curiosity killed the cat.
POW!

Im PMing him

No I would call! especially if you felt like he wasn't happy and just let him know if he changes his mind on them that you will buy them back from him.
