Ever wondered what a 'wild' turkey chick looks like?

This chick hatched out for me this morning from eggs rescued from an abandoned nest!

It's sibling hatched a little while later. Cute or what!!!

I've never seen one before! It looks like a "chicken chick".

Huh, I had a poult that looked just like that hatch out a few weeks ago, The father was half wild and half bronze and the hens were royal palms, But that was the only one to hatch out looking the that. The rest were either black, brown, or a slate color. Very cool~

Ha, that's what my youngest son said this morning. I don't know what he was expecting the chick to look like but he seemed kind of disappointed when it looked just like all the other chicks I hatch out, except bigger!
