(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Somewhat new, this is my second year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
10 chickens with 15 more on the way.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Australorps, EE's, Golden Comets, and Deleware and New Hampshires on the way.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Honestly it's something my wife, kids, and I all do as a family. We all find joy in them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hunting and reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a wife and two kids, a boy and girl. We have an attack golden doodle that we all laugh at when people come over. She's the best burglar alarm you could ask for until the door is opened. I'm self employed and dream of being a homesteader when I retire.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
