HOPE ALL Y'ALL ARE HAVING FUN IN THE MISERABLE HEAT... I KNOW I AM. IT'S HOT ENOUGH HERE TO MAKE THE DEVIL SIGH

, AND IF THATS NOT BAD ENOUGH I HAVE SOMEHOW MANAGED TO LET A GNAT INTO THE HOUSE

..... WHICH I AM ABOUT TO GO JOE WALSH ON...

I'll share! Barely mid-50's here in New Hampshire today, cloudy and just dreary. House has been a chilly 63 degrees all day...and yep, I glanced at that woodstove (sidewise) a time or two...but it just seems so wrooong!

Looking forward to mid-70's tomorrow and that elusive sunshine! Makes the outside chores much more fun....

We've been in the 80's here. But with low humidity it isn't too annoying. The quail are doing some panting, so I guess I will see if I have a spare piece of shade cloth laying around.

Brutal...been making sure the birds have cool, clean water. If I go by the water, I dump and refill.

We even added hog pans full of water in the barnyard for the chickens...water gets nasty in less than a day, but we dump and refill.

and we had some extra flex 1/2" hose for irriagation system and ran a 70' line down the middle of the barnyard, then ziptied Misters on 6 ft stakes- nice to work under

and helps keep the dust down a lil.

Well, it was 95 and 97 last week here, then it got much cooler. High today here was only 69, and it is going to be about 47/48 tonight.

Worst part, the office building I work in is just plain freezing in the summer. It was about right last week when it was extremely hot, but not that its cooler again, its incredibly cold in there. So, I am wearing heavy sweaters at work in the middle of summer. I look stupid when I come out. My desk is RIGHT under the air duct.

State of emergency here with wild fires and smother me hot and humid. Will be so happy to have it cool down some. Now tonight storms rolling through, more lightening, more fires I am sure.

Good note, all the quail eggs hatched last week and this week except for 12 total. Now have quail coming outta my ears and loving it.

they are kept in the back yard nice and shade all day, still about 95 back there tho.
