Evil human stage?

My Rouens are just about 2 weeks old now. They definitely don't like being picked up but at least the drake (Touma) bares with it as long as I have my hand under his feet. The hen (Haruka)...not so much. They seem to be ok with pets once they've nestled down in my lap but pretty much only there.
I've also managed to hand feed them peas however it doesn't seem like Touma likes those. Anyway, I'm wondering about this evil human stage. When can I expect that to happen if at all? I'm currently trying to teach them their names. Any tips on that too?

I think it starts about 6 weeks ish. Mine seem to have grown out at about 10 weeks

At three weeks humons become ax murderers. Ours have been in that stage for three weeks now. However, the ax is not seen when there are peas , mealworms, green beans, or watermelon in the humon hand

I agree with you there! Haruka loves peas. Still got to figure out what Touma likes. Hopefully I can get them to learn their names. Guess that part takes time. I'll eventually teach them to follow me once I get diapers for them.

It’s sad, but my ducks never got over the ‘evil human’ phase, but they do know their names.

It helps teach them if you call their name as you throw them something delicious like a snail.
