I have 6 ex batts that have laid only 2 eggs in 4 days. They have been regrowing feathers and are about 75% back to normal. I've heard that I leave the eggs in there that they will keep laying.
Is this true? What else can I do to help?

If you just got them, it is normal for them to go into a slump in production after changing environment. The first couple of days they will lay the eggs that were 'in process', and then they will take a break.

They were rescued about a month before I got them so they have already been through a lot of changes. They had been raised in a production house in those battery cages, then to the other lady's farm, now to me.
No doubt they are struggling some now. They seem fine except for the lack of being fully feathered and there faces looking a little pale.

Leaving the eggs will not prompt them to lay more, gather eggs daily.

Leaving fake eggs/golf balls in nests will prompt them to lay in the nests tho.
