Can people post some pics of a few colors of bantam Cochin roosters for me? I ended up with too many roosters and I need to re home 3 I'll probably keep the best quality of all 4 of the colors I have but if they are all pretty much the same quality/temperament I'm going to keep the prettiest rooster IMO. I'd like to see some pics of a self blue rooster, a mottled rooster, a silver penciled rooster, and a Birchen rooster. All those colors in the bantam form please. I already know I'm keeping 2 standard partridge Cochin roosters as well so if some one has any pics of that color you could post them too. Thanks.

Pretty boy, do their tails get much longer then that after they age a little more or is that length about the norm for a Cochin rooster? How is he with the hens I know some breeds are very defensive of their laddies and some are pretty rough on the hens. How is he with people have you noticed any aggression in that direction from him? I really like the look of the partridge Cochin roosters, they just look like good old fashioned farm roosters don't they, but he is a handsome roo, you can tell he's happy and well feed. Is he crowing much? I like hearing a rooster crow in the morning but some take it a little too far and never shut up, and I had one little rooster that sounded like a sqeaky toy every morning...not as nice to hear in the morning. lol

He crows an average amount. It is not a pretty crow (yet). but he's working on it. He is stand-offish of humans - which I appreciate. He thinks he's a duck, so I have to work on that.. He is HUGE. Way bigger than my year old barred rock..

He has some growing to do, so I'm not sure about the tail feathers question.. He was a little aggressive with the hens when he first started crowing and has completely calmed down. He only mates the ducks now. I have to pen him with the other cochins for next spring breeding lol.

I have a really handsome birchen cochin named TUX and I love him to peices
