Excited for Chickens!!!!!!!

Hi guys! Today while my mom's at work, her friend who just so happens to be a builder is driving my brother and I to a poultry farm! He's gonna take pictures and build us a coop just like it! Then we'll get 5 hens and live happily ever after.

Does anybody have any tips for getting to know my hens once I get them and tips to keeping my hens warm in the winter???? I'd love to know! Thanks!

They just love to be loved! ... might be a good iea if you live in a cold area to insulate the coop .... there are many on here in the coop building section who I am sure will help you. Congrats and welcome to chicken addiction
