I'm so very excited to have found this site. I hope that you will all forgive me as I am an extreme newbie when it comes to backyard chicken. I have friends who do it/have done it but no one that I can actually really ask. I m a new homeowner and am looking forward to the idea of eventually getting some babies. Before I actually just go and pretend I know what I'm doing I figured I'd learn the most I could so I can have an awesome setting for my ladies, and hopefully get some eggies! I am not new to the lifestyle of living the clean lifestyle-I have an awesome garden I have animals and 2 kids-one who is old enough and I think it would be an awesome thing for our family to do together, I bake and cook a lot too so I think nothing beats fresh eggs!! I saw on the site that someone else from my town has chickens too, so I'm pretty sure I can too!
