Probably not much longer. She's 7 years old. She's been a great mama hen tho!

Momma did well against the Red-tailed Hawk that round. Hawk will be back.

Time to keep the flock in their coop and run, at least two weeks, because that hawk will return, and may do better next time.

It's really not big enough for them (chicken math lol). I was in the process of building them a much larger coop and run, will have to work faster. I accept that predators are a risk, tho.
