My chicken layed an egg yesterday, how long will my chicken lay another one, please. She hasn't lay anything today

Usually a chicken lays an egg every day
darker brown eggs take longer for the hen to lay . the egg stays inside the chicken longer because it is darker brown. a dark brown egg chicken may only lay 3 to 5 eggs a week.
some chickens lay more eggs than others . some chickens only lay three to five eggs a week.
I would expect an egg at least every two days .

New layers can take a while before they get their egg- laying system up and running. Taking a month or so is not unusual in my experience. Patience is the name of the game
