This is my most exotic chicken breed, a lavender silkied Ameraucana. I've always thought silkies were neat, but could be improved if they laid blue eggs, larger eggs, and more of them. This breed fits all that exactly. They are as docile as silkies, but also good blue egg layers.
Front and center is a young pullet, showing off her soft feathering.
