The first coop was made from an old playhouse with some plywood I had leftover and tarps. I then found three dressers that I used some of the drawers but mostly the the mainstructure. I put two dressers together and turned one on it's side to make a small run that I could use for quarantine when needed with an old cat litter box as a nest box. I used a head board to create roof for it all which I attatched to another playhouse I just aquired.I will then use the tarps in order to protect the structure from the weather that I can roll up and let down. I'm using wood that I picked up on garbage days and from scraps left over from my fence build, while in addition a cabinet that I found. I can't wait to get this finished my two big girls are outside in the already finsihed coop but my 6 girls are almost 7wks it's time for outside! And since I still have the original coop closed off they can all see each other and get use to each other before they live together. I will post more and better images, I've been working into the dark. I got backed up due to my surgery, almost all better just one more doc appt in may and then I'm all done with that. I will be working hard tomorrow to finish! I already had an attack and lost a bird so I've been vigilant on checking weak spots and will be adding and additional screen over the chicken wire for added protection.
