I'm looking for information on getting Npip certified. Like what's the expectations of how the coops/runs are set up? Do they test all your birds in each run even if they aren't being shown or bred, for sale? My personal laying hens are seperate from the ones I'll use for breeding/showing/selling hatching eggs. Do I have to have a minimum amount of chickens to get Npip certified? I live in Maine if that helps. Does anyone know the cost? I'm sure I'll have more questions, but that's all I can think of for now. Thank you to anyone who can educate me!

They test all the birds 4 months and older in Wisconsin.
I don’t know what the expectations are for coop and run because I’ve been certified for a few years and they’ve never actually come to inspect the property. No minimum number of birds.
