So last August we raised 15 Cornish cross with good results. This year we ordered Color Yield Rangers. The chicks are about 3 weeks. I am noticing that they seem more aggressive than the cx. They peck my have when I put the food in the brooder. I will move them to a tractor as soon as it is warm enough here. I am wondering if they will bother my layers if I let them out of the tractor to free range sometimes. Has anyone noticed the rangers being aggressive? What other things have you noticed about this breed? TIA.

Here are a few pictures of their size now.

Did any of yours crow before butchering?
