Experienced breeders?? Breeding brother and sister ducks

Muscovy ducks.

Realizing that ducks are not humans, I ask:

I have six scovies and they are all bros and sisters.

I'd like to get some unrelated birds so they can mate. But there are some difficulties in finding some.

Finding scovies is NOT that easy..............

Some say yes, it can work fine, that the inbreeding (as distinct from 'linebreeding') thing really is not an issue with lower animals, unlike the problem it is with higher animals...........

Has anyone ever had a sibling mate situation?

I bet no one will say yes...............

Just want to ask, even though I have before..........

I would not want this as a PERMANENT SITUATION, mind you............

Well... I know that ducks are by no means rabbits... But we have rabbits and I guess It's okay to breed parents and child. But when you breed siblings that's when all the problems start to occur.
