Experienced chicken mom with a conundrum

Hello!
We've had chickens for a few years now. I've been pretty successful treating various issues that have arose, but a new one has me stumped...and I'm not finding much help elsewhere. I'm hoping for some good tips here, and I'd love to share my experience to help others too.
