Explain COLOR GENES to me.... :)

Would anyone care to explain the basics of chicken color genes to me? Or point me in the right direction as far as online info and charts, etc?

This book was published some 20 years ago, and has been out of print for at least the last 15 years. It was also very expensive.
I suggest you have a look at http://edelras.nl/chickengenetics/ which is more up to date & free.
