:D Hello from NE Ohio. I am going to be checking local ordinances but do not believe I will be allowed to have poultry here. However, we are moving out of state to a rural location in the foreseeable future and I am trying to learn now what I will need to know then. Currently my plan is just for a few eggs daily for our personal use and there will be anywhere from 2 to 5 or more of us in this move. . Basically, I know nothing so where do I start?:D

The Learning Center is the best place to start your chicken education. If you know where you will be moving you could post on the state thread and find out ahead of time what the chicken rules are. Good luck to you.

Thank you!. The plan is to move to an area with no restrictions!. Where I have lived for the last 27 years, you couldn't do anything without approval, inspections, etc. You can't breathe with their requirements and restrictions!
