express mail for chicks

I'm thinking of ordering chicks from a breeder from missouri. He uses express mail, they will ship weds afternoon. Will I expect to get them by thursday?

If you go to the USPS.com web site, there is a place under the 'products and services', 'mailing and shipping', 'Express mail', and you can put in the origin address, and the destination address, and it will tell you the guaranteed delivery time.

I found out the hard way that there is no express shipping to me....
