Extended duck family

On july 4th we had a visit from a family of ducks that wondered into my backyard (mother and father have always visited) amd the mother duck brought 9 babies. We decided thay it was best to let them stay in our backyard even if it meant we wernt going to enjoy the pool this summer :-( but gave a better chancw for survival for the ducks. But now its sept 6th amd it has been about 3 to 5 days since i have not seen the mother duck. The ducklings are big and possibly juviniles at this stage. Did the mother abandon them? Will the ducks fly off on their own? What is the best course of action. We are willing to keep them here until they leave.

Yes, they will leave...Momma has weaned the Ducklings...Instinct will have them fly away soon....
