Hi,
We have a number of chicks, all about 8-9 weeks, and they all do the oddest things with their necks.
When sleeping/resting they stretch their necks out as far as chickenly possible, about 5-6 inches...then either rest it on something, you, another chick etc, or they dangle their heads in mid air. They seem perfectly happy doing this.
We had 2 ISA Browns, and they never did this.
Is this neck chicken trait a common thing?
Tahnks,
Woka
