Let Your Light Shine ~ Matthew 5:16 🤍✝️
My chickens pecked every blade of grass long ago... it’s plenty big, but I want to expand it so that they have more foraging space. Why type of fencing is it, and what holds it up?

Nope. All of their wings have been clipped though.Do they not fly over the fence?
Yea. They will destroy it otherwise. We had one patch was very wet and they made into a mud pit in an afternoon so we have to keep an eye on them. That sounds like a good plan to keep the grass growing. I know it only took a few months for my chickens to eat all the grass in the chicken rundown to bare dirt, and then they scratched up the dirt. I converted my chicken run into a chicken run compost system after that and have been reaping the rewards of having my chickens make my compost.
Granger 4 foot electric poultry next. We have two of them. We also have a solar energizer for it. We use Velcro straps on the ends by the coup. We just stick the other bits into the ground. My chickens pecked every blade of grass long ago... it’s plenty big, but I want to expand it so that they have more foraging space.
