Extra Bloom

I found this surprise in the coop today. I'm guessing it's just excessive bloom? I rinsed it off carefully and there is a clear jelly glob with it along with a twisted section. This reminds me of the afterbirth of a cow. I've never seen anything like this from a chicken. What's going on here?

Almost looks like a good egg was laid at the same time as the membrane of another one. Probably nothing to be concerned about unless it keeps happening but that is pretty interesting!

Not bloom, membrane.
Shelled egg backed up and got more membrane applied before finally being laid.
Hopefully just a one off glitch.
If it happens again, more investigation will be needed.
