Good morning!
One of my ladies lays an extra large egg about once a week. I’m not sure who is doing it, unfortunately.
I imagine it’s normal for an egg of this size, but is the blood on the shell normal? I looked around the coop and did not see any bloody droppings so I don’t think it’s coccidiosis, but… could it be? Also, these eggs always have SUPER thin shells. This one cracked by me picking it up. I offer calcium to everyone always and all other eggs have normal thick shells.
Thanks in advance for any advice/help!
