Well Done. I have a skylight in the coop so the natural sun comes in early but they have a heat lamp in there and out of my 14 laying, I am still getting 12 eggs every morning.

I will let them lay when they want and went they take a break that is fine with me.

I've been using a light and out of 37 layers I averaged 32 eggs a day. That went up to 36 when I started giving hog feed in the evening. I still give layer crumbles during the day.

Twice the light burned out in the night and I still got good numbers.

I get it at a mill. They mix their own. I pay 12.50 for 100 lb. I think it keeps them warmer at night too.

I was reluctant to try it but they have lots of farmers they sell to that only buy hog feed.
