Hi everyone. I'm new here and new to raising chickens.
I have 2 silkies at 6 weeks old and 2 frizzles at 9 weeks old.
My question is, in 3 days time our tempreature will hit 41c deg (106f) for two days back to back.
How can I care for my chickens in this extreme heat? They have some shade and I give frozen water with fruit and veg but I'm afraid it simply won't be enough.

Hello!
When it gets hot for my chickens I have a little mist attachment and turn it one. They do not like it but it does keep them a little cooler. Just make sure they have access to water all the time. If they are in their coop make sure they have a window open or add a fan. If one of them is having a lot of trouble I would give them cool water feet baths. You do not want the water to be too cold because it will shock their system. Hope that helps a little.
Hope it cools off!
