I have my very first flock of silkies. All of them have black eyes buy one has brown eyes. Is this one cross bread? Thanks for any answer.

prob not.... chickens can have differences...... prob just a slight genetic difference... you could post some pics tho.....

No, it isn’t a cross.
Eye color is controlled by a few different genes. Black eyes are really very dark brown, so the brown will vary.
