Eye color

Hi all,

I don't think I have ever seen this topic listed here, but do you all notice that the baby chicks are born with blue eyes, then turn green and when full grown they are brown?
OR are mine the only ones

I did not notice blue eyes on my peeps, their eyes all look black to me. My peeps are a mix of Black Astralorp & Old English Game.

Black then green with a black pupil so I guess mine are weird

Yup, my current baby chicks are all solid black, but here's my delaware and buff brahma pullets at 7 weeks showing their baby-er, greens??

I have all EE this time so maybe that is why they are blue. MAYBE I will get Blue eggs this time
