Eye infection?

Little worried about my hens eye this morning. Is it an infection that requires treatment? Seems to be behaving normal, eating and drinking. She's a 6 month old silkie, temps were just below freezing last night.

How does the other eye look? Have you checked for any lice or mites around her neck and under her vent? Can you wash the white bits off around her eye?

Other eye is fine, had a good look, no sign of any mites or lice. Just going to try washing with saline to see if I can get any of it off, just needed to wait for another set of hands.
