As per my previous thread, my hens were attacked by a fox and one of the survivors has a small wound on her comb. I noticed today she is also keeping one eye closed. (I didn't see this before as she was in shock and hiding at the back of the coop with both eyes closed.) She seems to be doing slightly better overall today - she has eaten and drunk a little and even ventured briefly out of the coop. But I'm worried about this eye. No obvious injury from the outside other than her comb. Should I do anything? I don't want to traumatise her further.

give her some electrolyte water to help her get past the shock. You can gently rinse the eye with saline and then apply Terramycin ointment if it looks bad, can you get a picture of it?
