My roo got beat up the other day. I had him inside for several days, but now he is back outside. While inside his eye was swollen shut. Since being back outside, the swelling has gone down. It has eye boogers and foam/bubbles. I know that he is now blind in the eye. How should I treat this? I have vetricyn ophthalmic gel ordered and plan to use that. But anything else I should do? I have to currently help him off the roost and hand feed/water 2x/day since he cant see well.

You can use a soft, warm salt water compress to clean the eye. You can probably even flush it with some bosch and lomb eye/contact solution. You can also use plain (non-pain releiveing) neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment while you wait for the other ointment to show up. That would probably provide him some relief.
