This Pekin pullet is about 5 mths old. Ever since I purchased her she was very friendly, about a month after I got her I noticed she would close her eyes a lot. Over the last few weeks it’s obvious that she has an eye issue which is causing her to close her eyes. There are no other symptoms, she eats well and just hangs close to the coop as I believe her low vision limits her confidence in free ranging with the flock.what could this be? No bubbles in eyes or loud breathing etc.

Do you have a history of respiratory illness within your flock. Something like Mycoplasma (MG) or Infectious Bronchitis?

It looks like she has conjunctivitis in both eyes. General care is to flush eyes with saline, remove any pus or debris, then put Terramycin eye ointment in the eye. Do this at least 2x a day until there's improvement.

If vet care is an option, that would be good.
