Eye & poop

My silkie chick has a really bad eye oozing clear liquid and white puss inside but won't come out without feeling like I'm going to hurt it. It also had pooped butt this morning but hasn't had it since. Eye ointment and antibiotics?

I would clean the eye with saline or Vetericyn, getting all of the pus off and out of the eye. There may be more pus inside, so gently try to squeeze it out. Flush with the saline and apply the plain antibiotic ointment twice a day.

I tried squeezing it out but I wouldn't budge enough before feeling like I'm going to squeeze it's head too hard.

Are you certain it is coming from the eye, or could she have an abscess near the eye or ear? Does it smell pretty bad?

It was definitely the eye. I finally got a huge puss pocket out but it sadly died yesterday.
