Eye Problem?

My friend's rooster has this problem with his eye, he seems to not be able to see out if it!

It looks like it could be pus covering the eye, which may be from a peck wound or injury with infection, or from a respiratory disease. A closer picture may help. Infection in the eye can cause blindness if not treated, whatever the cause. I would rinse the eye with saline, and apply either Terramycin eye ointment, plain triple antibiotic ointment, or Vetericyn eye gel twice a day inside the eye. I would also use a QTip to try and remove the pus. Respiratory diseases such as MG or coryza may cause swelling and pus in the eye.
