eye problems in chicks?

hi, my chick is closing one eye and not wanting to open it,
it doesn't seem to have any infection, I'm just a bit concerned.
any help would be welcome

It's likely scratched. Gently lift the eyelid to take a look.

so I had a look and there is a small white bit at the inner corner of the eye
it doesn't look scratched

the other chicks that she was with kept pecking her eyes
I wondered if that had anything to do with it

That could be it. You might want to isolate her.
