eyes matted shut

I bought some older silkies a month or so back. When i got home i noticed one couldnt open on of its eyes. It laster died. Now ive had trouble with chicks gettin there eyes matted shut and dieing on me. When i get there eyes cleaned up and opened drainage comes out. What is this? Ive never had any trouble until now.

Could possibly be Coryza are they raspy-lethargic-eye swelling, foamy, very nasty disease and will spread throught most of the flock.
I would isolate and treat with vet-rx and teramycin in the eyes.
