Hello all,

So I have raised chickens for a little over a year and I haven’t really had issues until I moved into my new home. I recently got some new polish chicks and I have one that is always falling over sleeping. It constantly wants to sleep. It eats and drinks but is unsteady and chirps all the time. I have adjusted the heat bc it’s blazing in nc but if I turn it off he has a fit bc it’s like 90 some days. He constantly wants to be under the other chickens and cuddled up to something like he’s cold. He also has had a pretty bad pasted bottom I’ve cleaned more than a few times. But idk if he is just cold or if something is wrong with him like I said he acts normal just falling over sleeping all the time. Also his wings hang down verses back with his body. I am new to this breed as I have only had Rhode Island reds but any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

Sounds like he needs a boost. Do you have any NutriDrench? Electrolytes in the water for a couple days will help. You can provide two waterers in that case or switch it out for fresh once a day. Making a mash with chick starter and egg yolk will help him as well. Do this for a few days until he starts to perk up
