We have had Mae in the house for several months now because she went blind. She's about 9 years old. We've been tube feeding her and she's doing very well however she has recently within a week of each other. Giving us two fairy eggs. My question is, is this likely to be a health issue? Since she's 9 years old, I'd never expected to get another egg from her. Also another question, since we quit tube feeding her, she Is still getting her vitamins and supplements and has gained 2 oz in 2 days. I haven't seen a big full crop since we quit tube feeding her but I can feel there is definitely food in there. She isn't losing weight so should we just continue to monitor her weight and if her crop isn't full then she's just not hungry maybe?
Left to right.....Regular size egg, Mae's 1st fairy egg, her 2nd fairy egg
