fan direction

I have pc fan to put in hovabator. Should the fan blow down on the eggs or up at the top?

Thanks. Thought so but wanted to make sure. Should the fan be spaced a little bit off the top to allow air to get behind it?

Hmm, sounds like I have my computer fan in backwards. I will have to switch it around to blow down once (hopefully) this batch of call duck eggs hatches.
