Fan in Incubator Question

Hello!! So I made a new DIY incubator for my duck eggs. So far they are on day 20 and doing very well however my original incubator had no fan and the temp fluctuates a lot. I am mostly concerned for the lockdown/hatching period. So I made a new one with a fan to play with & regulate temp & humidity so they can be transferred there for hatching. Here are some pics of my new one. It’s been on all day and the temp keeps slowly rising but is still only at about 92...my question is, the fan has a lot of openings on the top and I feel like it is creating way too much airflow. As you can see I even closed up all the air holes I made. So I put a tin over the top of the fan exposure (as seen in photo) with small holes to still allow flow but not too much open air. Is this ok or a good idea?? I do not have experience with fans so I’m not sure if in “needs” to be completely unblocked to properly open. Thanks for all the help and advise you can share! 😊

I see a lot of places for heat to escape at the top of the cardboard where the lid sits. Also, you probably have too many air holes around the side. Air holds should be at the bottom and top so the heat will draw fresh air in from below for oxygen. You may need a weaker fan and a metallic heat element of a higher wattage.
How many layers of cardboard make up the walls? You probably need something more insulative for the walls or at least more layers of cardboard.

I can see an issue with the fan, you have it blowing on the light bulb. You wont heat up quickly because of that. Place the fan 2 inch above the light bulb blowing to the other side of the box. And if that's gonna be your lockdown box you have too many holes for it. Oh you might consider dropping your light bulb an inch or higher above the floor. To me you have it too high. Here's an example:

Doesn't look like you have a digital temp switch, you'll need to keep your eye on the temperature. Make sure your lockdown isn't on baking mode.
Thanks so much for your input! Well I made some changes. It’s all I have so let’s hope it works! The embryos have been developing pretty well so far in my other one that is the same but with a big hole on top and still air. This one now has been mostly sealed up except for a few holes I left open. The others I taped shut. I hope it works!!!! What do you recommend for temp & humidity during lockdown? I feel like I read a few differ which suggestions...thanks!!
