Farm animals tax deductions

We keep our chickens and cows at a neighbors farm. Can we still calm buying and selling of cows/chickens.

Yes, keep your receipts, but many farmers keep animals on other people's land (usually they are renting). Just keep receipts and consider talking to a accountant this year, at least until you understand all your tax laws.
As a working farm, we always work through our accountant.
