Full-color, full-page photographs of the hens and their adventures grace its pages, and ink illustrations are smattered throughout the book. This story is perfect for children of all ages (and adults who love chooks too!).
Each copy will be signed by the author (me) and Fatima (a footprint).


Pricing
The book costs $25 each plus shipping. I know it's expensive — self-publishing has astronomical printing costs! The least expensive shipping is Media Mail ($3 or less in the US depending on your zip code) or choose Priority mail for faster shipping. {PM me for pricing on shipping.} It will cost less overall — for me AND — if the books are ordered in bulk, so I am going to wait to order until ten or so people want them.

If I'm not being too forward, may I ask how much it ran you to self publish? I've written 2 books, one for each of my children, and I'm interested in getting them published, but when I looked into it, I about dropped as they were talking $20,000 and up to self publish. And so I've just sat on these stories for several years now. I'd still like to publish them, but at the least expense since I'm not made out of money! If I weren't broke right now I would SOOOOO order your book, but I lost my job in December, so money is more than a little tight right now. From what I see in your pictures though, it's lovely. Who did the inside artwork? I like the feathers, very nice!

Each book costs $17.90 to print and about $3-4 to ship to me and then the orderer.

I used Lulu.com. Fatima's book doesn't have an ISBN number (so no libraries or bookstores will be able to carry it), and that's the REALLY expensive bit.
I did the artwork. Just some ink pen line drawings.
