Seems like I have some skinny chickens, like their breastbone does protrude versus buried in the chicken breast. They are wormed, dusted, and have feed out all the time . What else can I do?

Feed them black oil sunflower seed in addition to their layer feed. It's cheap, full of fat and protein and chickens love it!

I use cracked corn to fatten up my ladies, especially in the winter. It's not as favored as sunflower seeds, and isn't as nutritious, but it's a little cheaper and will fatten them up in no time!

just feed the BOSS shell and all. If you want to get ambitious and do your chickens a favor, try routing the BOSS first.

Soak the seeds in water (better if you put a shot of bleach in to prevent mold growth) overnight, drain, spread out in a tray and keep evenly moist until they sprout.

How can a BOSS shell have flavor? I know where I can get them by the pound.
