Fattening Up Quail?

This Is The Feed That My Birds Are Receiving Now. I'm Looking To Gain Healthy And As Many Eggs From Them As Possible, And At The Same Time, Fatten Them Up.
Is There Any Other Product That I May Want To Consider Feeding Them Or Is This Feed Good To Go?

Find some game bird feeder that has 25 -28% crude protein and your birds will be healthier and bigger. 20% protein is not enough. You can give them sprouts int the spring time to raise the protein intake and by giving them so plant life. Boiled eggs mashed up are another good suppliment. Or even Mealworms and the like.

Most important is to raise that protein intake for sure.

CR, feed is only a piece of the puzzle. Another thing is selective breeding... if you're not breeding your largest hens with the largest of males, all you are going to get are "average" sized birds.

And in the meantime, those eggs from the little girls can go into the frying pan... or cake mixes... or fried rice... dang, I just made myself hungry.
