I am an old chicken farmer from a way back! Don't have any chickens right now, but ORDERED some in Jan. and they will be arriving thursday of this week! I am so excited! Just like a mother hen! I cannot wait to get back into taking care of chickens again. I love chickens! My chickens will not be used as food, but for eggs. I would never eat one of my pets! Besides I am a vegetarian anyway. I always name all my chickens.
I live in the Ozark hills of southern Missouri and have a little 5 acre farm. No large animals, just a little beagle/chihuahua mix called Bella. Two outside cats, Bernie and Nizhoni.
Soon to be owner of 5 Salmon faverolle pullets, 5 Buff Orpingtons, (straight run) and 5 White Sultans, (straight run).
