Today I separated my hen and the rooster we got a few weeks ago. We know he is making contact with the other hens because we just hatched one of his chicks from another one of our hens. The frenchies seem to be a little indifferent to each other. How long should I expect to keep them isolated to ensure her eggs are fertile? Thank you.

I'd give her just a few days and start looking for bullseyes in the eggs.
