favorite breed as a pet?et?

Hello,

Got some chicks yesterday and can't stop thinking about those adorable ducklings. DH said I could go back if I want...

They had rouens and indian runners. Are either good for a pet duck? I have three kids(5, 3 and 4 mo) so id like to spend quality time with the ducklings and have them be good with the kids. Any suggestions between those two breeds or naybe a different one?

Also would they do well with my chicks? I have 16. I do know about letting them swim around often....I think I can convince my hubby to let me use the tub til its warmer out

I've heard wonderful things about runner ducks. I have a pair of rouens myself, and they are quite friendly and easy to get along with. Big ducks, though!

My personal favorite pet breed is call ducks, though. So small, bold, and full of personality!
