RIR and White Leghorns. They are awesome at egg laying. They will lay eggs all year everyday. I have 3 reds, 1 leghorn, 2 BO and 2 Delawares. Oh a 6 baby reds!!

Don't really like the Delawares. For such BIG chickens there eggs aren't very big. The RIR and Leghorns are AWESOME!!!! The leghorn will lay a goose size double yoke egg every week and a half of so. The only one that does. When I got her her first 2 eggs where double yokes.

For the number of eggs per day and size RIR's and leghorns!!
