When I was outside yesterday, I heard a strange noise that sounded sort of like a dog's sqeaky toy. It only sounded twice, so figured it was my neighbors dog playing. Yesterday afternoon, I was working in my hen house when I heard the noise again and realised it was coming from my 4 mo. old pullet, Daisy. She was on an outside perch making this yipping sound that resembled the bark of a small dog. IS THIS NORMAL!? Could she have been loudly coughing or sneezing? My husband "claims" she attacked his head the other day
, but thats not too strange because she's always been inquisitve. What's going on?
